* Terms and conditions
I am pleased to confirm that I wish to participate in the Pennies from Heaven scheme and hereby authorise Stonewater as my agent to collect each pay period from my net pay such odd penny balances (maximum 99p per pay period) and to distribute such amounts to the Longleigh Foundation. This authorisation is effective from the date I submit this form and shall remain in force until cancelled in writing. If I am a UK Taxpayer I give my consent for Gift Aid to be reclaimed on my donations (this boosts your donation by 25% and costs you nothing) and agree for my employer to provide Pennies from Heaven and the charities with my name and address for this purpose only. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
I understand that if I do not pay tax during the tax year, I will not be included on the report to claim Gift Aid from HMRC.
Where the money goes...
We were set up, in late 2015, by the social housing provider, Stonewater, who had recognised an ever-increasing gap between the needs of their residents and the availability and accessibility of services to provide the support required. Cutbacks to, and even the disappearance of, vital services across the community, combined with precarious employment opportunities and changes in the welfare system are continuing to put people, families and communities into positions of severe financial hardship, emotional distress and heightened vulnerability.
Longleigh provides funding that enables transformation and change in the life stories for the people and communities served by the social housing sector.With the demand for our funding continuing to increase over the last few years, we know that Longleigh is needed today just as much as when we were first formed.
